My wife, my daughter, and myself were leaving on a fishing trip friday morning july 10th, 2009 driving on 215 n before the exit to Aliante, the highway patrol told us we would not be cited for losing control of our vehicle due to the lane changes being confusing and that the sign had caught our rims causing our vehicle to flip 1 1/2 times. After my wife opened the drivers side door and got out and I reached to the backseat and pulled our 5 year old daughter which was hanging upside down from her booster seat out of the drivers side then I got out on the drivers side. WE ARE ALL ALIVE. With the sun shining on the old and new lines. What can we do now?

Does this include and upgrade to the 95-215 interchange? Seems easy enough to add a couple of ramps to eliminate the stoplights, but do they actually plan to do that?

I'd love to see how they construct the actual freeway portion of this without closing any roads like Decatur or Jones. I can't understand why they elevated Decatur or any of the other roads in the first place because they are going to have to plow it down to built the overpass unless they have some sort of construction technique that will allow them to build the brige on the elevated dirt mound first and then bulldoze it afterwards but whatever happens this is going to create a nightmare for those people who depend on the 215 in that part of town, like me for instance.

This will be interesting to see. I live near the intersection of Jones and Tropical Pkwy. Tropical is the very first... whoops, second now, traffic light south of the 215; and I've often wondered what was going to be done with the beltway at this location. See the intersection of Jones/215 is not raised up like the intersection of 215/Decatur (north side) is. And there are houses nearby on both the north and south sides of the 215, making me wonder if there's enough room for a big, fancy "on-ramp/off-ramp" configuration at this location. Maybe if they shift the whole beltway north and elevate it, there may be room, but I'd love to know what they have planned for this intersection. I guess time will tell.
