A Northwest Intersection Gets Fixed!
Rosemarie called the Channel 8 Traffic Team and sounds very concerned about an intersection she uses in the northwest.
Traffic crews from the City went to the intersection to research it and didn’t see any sight distance problems that went against their regulations. However, to help better regulate traffic flows, crews are planning to install a “stop bar” and this is exactly what it sounds like– a bar in front of the stop sign. This should help people gauge how far they can drive up towards the light without being unsafe. This will be placed on the southeast corner for northbound travel on cliff shadows parkway. Right now the southwest corner at the intersection is still under construction by private development, however the city will soon be taking over these roads- and once this happens- crews will install another stop bar on this corner– for eastbound travel on
