What’s Up at Losee and Washburn?
Question from Daniel in North Las Vegas:
“For the last few months the intersection at Losee and Washburn has been driving me nuts! We drive in through Washburn Road where there’s a two-way stop. The thing is, Losee’s traffic doesn’t have to stop, but Washburn’s does! At times, it has taken us up to five minutes, just to get through this one intersection! Is there something that can be done here?”
Melissa’s Answer:
According to authorities at the City of North Las Vegas, this intersection has been on their to-do list for awhile and is marked as “high priority” to get a traffic signal installed. Currently, crews are just waiting for parts to come in so the work can be done. Most of the materials have been ordered and the actual construction is expected to start within a month. The City of North Las Vegas plans on having this traffic signal up and running, by May 15th!
