Police Hunt for Cordial Crook
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
The hunt is on for a man who has robbed several banks in the last few weeks, often ending his crime with a nice thought – “Thank you and God bless.”
Wednesday morning, he struck again, pulling off his tenth bank robbery in Las Vegas Valley since September. Police say he’s even robbed one bank twice.
The bandit hit again Wednesday at the Washington Mutual branch on Maryland Parkway and Sahara. Police say he waited in line and fled with money. Metro and the FBI are desperate to catch this repeat robber.
“He’ll wait in line — he’ll wait until he approaches a teller, and he will either present a note or he will tell them that he wants the cash out of the drawer. And on some occasions, he’s even threatened that he may have a weapon,” said Metro Robbery Lt. Clint Nichols.

Police are looking for a man who robbed a music store on Maryland Parkway. On April 11, 2008, the suspect entered the store, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register.

Police are looking for two men who robbed a woman. Police say the victim and her 6-year-old son were approached by two suspects, who then forced her into her car and ordered to drive to a bank.
