Police Looking For Three Missing Kids

Update

The boys have been located. They are safe and with their families.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the Public’s assistance in locating three runaway juveniles.

11-year-old Demetrius Patterson and 13-year-old Kyle Aberhart live next door to each other near E. Charleston and Christy Lane. They are close friends and each left their homes at the same time.

Patterson is described as a black male, 5′2″ and 200 pounds. Aberhart is 4′9″ and 118 pounds.

The two boys may be with a 17-year-old friend named Curtis Slack. Slack is considered a habitual runaway himself and often away from his family.

Curtis was last seen on January 14, 2008 at the Sunrise Public Library. He was carrying a box and a dark plastic trash bag.

If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of Patterson, Aberhart or Slack, you’re asked to contact Metro’s Missing Persons Unit at 828-2907.
