The shooting happened near Alta and Town Center. Four people fled the scene after the deadly shooting. The violence unfolded after school let out. The victim, Christopher Privett, a 9th grader, was walking down the street with friends when he was allegedly shot by Davison in a passing car.
Clark County School Superintendent Walt Rulffes said the shooting begs the question of whether schools are safe. He said he believes they are still the safest place for children but there needs to be more parent and community involvement in what children are doing.
