Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center has announced the opening of their new Diabetes Treatment Center.
The center offers comprehensive services for adults and children who have diabetes and pre-diabetes. Las Vegas pediatric endocrinologist, Asheesh Dewan will work with the younger patients.
“The families that I've been speaking to and telling them this resource is coming, they've all been very excited by it,” shared Dr. Dewan. “And very anxious, just as we are to moving forward and help them.”
The medical team at the new diabetes center includes nurse specialists and dieticians.
