If you're heading to McCarran Airport over the next few months, be aware there are changes to where you'll be able to park.

Beginning Monday, a remote parking lot will open just east of the McCarran Rent-a-Car Center. That's the purple area off Gillespie in this graphic, between Warm Springs and the Beltway.

That lot will serve as McCarran's primary surface parking lot and will have more than 1,900 spaces.

McCarran's existing economy lot — the orange area on this graphic — will stop accepting incoming vehicles at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
