It worked for Dr. Evil. Why not Sharron Angle?

I just don’t understand all the criticism of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle’s reluctance to talk with the mainstream media.

Don’t get me wrong. Being a member of said media, I have been as critical as anyone about Angle’s tendency to shun my colleagues for the friendly treatment of Heidi Harris and Sean Hannity. I even poked fun at Angle’s claim that she can’t raise money on mainstream media outlets and suggested she record an infomercial instead.

But, I have seen the light. I get it now. I’ve had the proverbial epiphany, and it hit me like a Cain Velasquez right hand to Brock Lesnar’s temple.

My moment of clarity came this week with another report of Ms. Angle running from the media’s prying cameras. This time, the location was a Microsoft licensing office in Reno. The Angle campaign faked out the media with the use of a decoy, sending reporters on a wild goose chase while the real Sharron Angle snuck out a side door.

Some call the move pathetic. Others say it’s ingenious. But, I think it explains everything. Sharron Angle tipped her hand. Nobody realizes she pulled back the curtain. She exposed the truth, and the truth has set her free.

That was no decoy. Sharron Angle has a clone.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking I’ve tipped back a few Four Lokos. But, the notion that Angle has a “mini-me” running around is the most plausible explanation. Just look at the evidence.

She kept a low profile immediately after the primary election. We all thought she was refusing to answer questions. Actually, she sped off to a secret laboratory to drop off some of her DNA.

She’s been raising money hands over fist. Of course she has. Two of her are doing the fundraising!

This also explains her contradictory comments. Sharron Angle really didn’t say she wanted to privatize Social Security and Veterans Affairs. She really didn’t advocate Second Amendment remedies if Republicans lose this year. She really didn’t say the federal government has spoiled its citizenry by providing unemployment benefits. That wasn’t the real Sharron Angle trying to cut a backroom deal with Tea Party candidate Scott Ashjian. It was all her evil clone saying these controversial things. You can even picture the evil clone wringing her hands and laughing maniacally afterwards.

Angle can even use this as a campaign strategy. Senator Harry Reid likes to say he has clout in Washington as the Senate Majority Leader. Well, imagine the pull Nevada would have with three U.S. senators! Every other state would only have two, but the Silver State would be blessed with three voices to exert their influence and political capital in Washington. Oh wait, I forgot John Ensign is our other senator. Well, we would still have two Sharron Angles and that’s better than one right?

Don’t be surprised if other politicians take notice. Congressional cloning is the wave of the future people. And you thought James Cameron was cutting edge.

    And they call Angle A whack job? Any one that does not see the liberal media for what they are is a whack job themselves! It's liberal commentary like this that really shines light on how crazy thier views and weight of thier opinions of others really are!

    The liberals are in such a panic and are grasping at anything they can to get these liberal hacks re-elected! The pigs are starting to whine already! Can't wait for 2012 so we can kick the rest of the trash to the curb!

    concernedinlasvegas, I totally agree. The liberal media is controlled by George Soros, the man is evil. When the only news media that tells the truth is FOX this country is in serious trouble. Americans have allowed a total news take over by Soros, isn't that what happened in Germany, one person controlling all public information. If not for FOX we would never know how corrupt ACORN was during last election. These little tid bits are never reported by the main stream media. Voter fraud is never reported by anyone but FOX. It reminds me of the banks too big to fail. Our Washington politicians allowed a few big bank take overs to occur and look at the mess, it's called monopoly. George Soros just donated a million dollars toward passing a Bill to legalize marijuana in California. I really don't have an opinion one way or another on legalizing marijuana. But I do know Soros' interest isn't for the good of California but he wants to control the market like he controls all the media in this country. He doesn't do anything unless it gives him the power to control. The liberal media is trying hard to destroy Angle and any other candidate that is not in lock step with liberals. I hope Nevadans will see through this ploy. Reid is one of the liberals that put Nevada and the rest of the country in this financial mess trillions in debt that will never be paid off.

    In this article, Mr. Demarco demonstrates the frustration of the left because they see that their old tactics of distortions, lying, slandering, etc. aren't working any longer. We the People are awake and we are observant. On THE VIEW yesterday, Joy Behar gave a command performance of liberal behavior for all the world to see. It was great because she exposed liberals for what they really are and the lengths they are willing to go to in order to destroy people they disagree with. Even the campaigner-in-chief is engaging in non-presidential left wing rhetoric and making a fool of himself. It's all so entertaining!

    JoJo4: Good post! You are quite correct with your analysis. I would add that, in addition to FOX News being the only TV news that hasn't been captured and corrupted by the left, there are still several radio programs which broadcast the truth. The left has desperately been trying to hush the voice of conservative talk radio, thereby destroying our right of free speech. We conservatives must be united against the desire of the liberals to kill our rights. I also think that ALL taxpayer support of NPR and their parent organization should be terminated, including the favored tax breaks they get. Let George Soros support them! He just gave them $1.8 mil.

    C'mon Guy DeMarco (DeMarxist?), call it what it is, “The Lamestream Media.” Journalism is truly dead, it is not even showing a heartbeat. All your profession has become is a sounding board for the looney left. Maybe when you attended Berkley, you became enamored with your smelly hippie professor, and believed his ant-American, Maoist, rhetoric. Please tell us why you chose to enter a profession that is supposed to have an un-biased viewpoint, and decide to emulate a Harry Reid, desperate, attack ad instead? A public in search of “news” on this site, is waiting for your response.

    I actually didn't attend Berkeley. I couldn't afford it. I did, however, have a smelly hippie professor for a class once. True story. I think he taught sociology. I can't remember that far back. I wasn't particularly enamored with him, though. He was, after all, smelly. I couldn't stand too close to him.
