Daycare Sued After Toddler Dies in Pool

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against a North Las Vegas daycare center where a toddler drowned in January.

The suit file by the mother of 18-month-old Jordan Williams alleges Marisela's Family Daycare Center was negligent in failing to care for her son. The boy and a three-year-old were found in a hot tub attached to a pool at the home-based daycare on January 13, 2009.

The three-year-old survived.

The Clark County District Attorney's Office has ruled the drowning was accident and did not file any charges.
