Altercation Leads to Road Rage at Sam’s Town

Four people were injured Saturday morning when, police say, a woman plowed her car into a them as they were waiting at the valet area of Sam's Town Casino on Boulder Highway.

All four, including one who was very severely injured, were taken to University Medical Center.

The driver of the car was immediately detained by casino security and later taken into custody by Metro officers.

Police say they are investigating reports that the incident was an act of violence spawned by an altercation between two groups of people which took place minutes earlier inside the casino.
