CAT Bus Plows Into Las Vegas Home
Friday, January 4th, 2008

Passengers on one CAT bus got a wilder ride than they expected overnight, when their bus clipped a car, plowed through a block wall and into a house in Las Vegas.

The accident happened near Stewart and Nellis and rattled neighbors.

“I was in my room and I just heard a loud noise and it sounded like a big crash. We saw the bus was actually inside the backyard of the house, so I immediately called 911,” said Silvia Ramirez, a neighbor.

No serious injuries are reported among the three passengers in the bus, the driver, and the people in the car. But building inspectors are checking whether the house is safe.
