Tuesday's citizenship ceremony is one of the many events leading up to Nellis Air Force Base's annual Aviation Nation set for this weekend. The premier air show features aircraft from all over the country and is one of the largest aviation events in North America.

Aviation Nation 2007 is expected to be even more spectacular than last year because it commemorates the U.S. Air Force's 60th anniversary.

Nicole Malchowski is the first female Thunderbird pilot. “What you are going to see are those first aircraft that brought us through to our own service back to the 1940's all the way to now — to the birth of the F-22. So you are going to see the birth of the Air Force as well as our generation that's come out now,” she said.

A huge attraction every year are the U.S. Thunderbirds, based right here at Nellis Air Force Base. Aviation Nation is a free event.
