The Clark County Homicide Report tracks all deaths of one person by another. The listings are updated as they happen.
The posts are gathered from a variety of sources including Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Henderson Police, North Las Vegas Police and the Clark County Coroners Office.
By creating the Homicide Report, LasVegasNOW looks to track and log all homicides in Clark County, present a forum and memorial for those killed at the hands of others and offer helpful links to useful information about violent crime.
As policy, we are not going to add suspect mugshots. This is a log about victims and not about the suspects. In some cases, we may link to a story that follows a suspects progress through the court system, but their photos will not be included in the blog.
While we attempt to keep the list in chronological order, it’s nearly impossible. Some homicides are not known until well after the initial death.
We have partnered with the coroners office to share information. Hopefully, those deaths that are later classified as homicides won’t slip through the cracks.
