Firefighters located the fire and discovered that a deceased human body was on fire.

Officers were dispatched and determined that the body was that of an African-American female, later identified as 37-year-old Sabrina King. Police say she had severe head injuries.

The caller said a man had been shot.

Patrol officers arrived and found a 27-year-old male, identified as Robert Turner, deceased from gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives were called and began investigating.

They found that a female arrived at the home just before midnight. She was confronted by two black male adults, both in their 20’s, wearing dark clothing. Those men forced her into the house at gunpoint.

A short time later, the male resident and another female entered the house. A confrontation ensued, and the male victim was shot.

Police say the two suspects were seen running away from the house. Officers believe robbery was the motive but do not believe this robbery is part of a series.
