Friday, May 9th, 2008At approximately 8:45 p.m., Metro Police received a call from a man saying there was a shooting at a house on Rancho Santa Fe avenue.
When officers arrived, they found 57-year-old Sharon Randolph inside the house, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. There was also a man, later identified as 38-year-old Michael Miller, who was deceased in the garage of the residence, also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and have preliminarily determined that the residents of the house, a husband and wife, had left their home for the evening and when they returned, they interrupted Miller who was burglarizing the residence.
