January 24, 2009 — 5800 Block of Rose Sage Street

pizza_murder_suspect_180.jpgNorth Las Vegas Police Department received 911 calls reporting shots fired on Rose Sage Street. When officers arrived, they found 51-year-old John Norris lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Norris was a delivery man for Pizza Hut. The house he was delivering to had been vacant for several years, according to neighbors.

Police have released a sketch of a man seen in the area before the shooting. He is described as a black man with brown eyes, about 17 to 25-years-old and heavy set. He’s about five feet ten inches tall.

There is a $22,000 reward to find whoever is responsible for this crime. Pizza Hut, Meadow Gold Dairy and CrimeStoppers are offering the reward. If you have any information or saw the suspect, call CrimeStoppers at 385-5555.
