January 21, 2009 — 2300 Block of Bonanza
Metro Officers were sent to an area behind a shopping center after getting calls of a man shot. When they arrived, they found 60-year-old Jose Gonzalez-Chavez shot multiple times. He was transported to UMC where he died a short time later.
According to witnesses, an African American male and an African American female were seen fleeing the scene. No other details have been released.
