On the evening of August 11, officers and EMT’s responded to reports of a man shot at an apartment complex on North Lamb. When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Roshii Wells suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.

Wells was transported to UMC where he died from his injuries. Wells was an Olympic boxer and won a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Games.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Roger Randolph near Dolan Springs, Arizona for this crime.
