July 19, 2008 - Owens and Civic Center

On the night of July 19, North Las Vegas Police got a call of a man shot near Owens and Civic Center.

Witnesses say 25-year-old Orlando Basurto-Carranza was waving at a car and yelling for the driver to slow down. Police say someone in the car pulled out a gun and started shooting. The car then sped off.

  1. No more Vegas vacations for me. Violence is up everywhere even in the Aloha State but man Vegas got a lot of homicides.
