May 21, 2008 – 4600 Block of Boulder Highway

patricia-fuchs-5-08.jpgOn May 21, 2008 a man called 911 and reported his girlfriend had been attacked inside their apartment and may be dead. Police Officers and ambulance technicians responded to the scene and found 51-year-old Patricia Fuchs deceased inside the apartment.

The investigation revealed that Fuchs was alone inside her apartment for several hours on the morning of the 21st. Her boyfriend returned home from a job interview and discovered her on the floor of their apartment. Police do not have any suspects in the case and say the investigation is continuing.

    My husand works for this company that owns the suites both indios and flamingo,americanna on harmon and alexis park.He is security for alexis park,We have lived on indio property for 6 months.It is a tradgic loss and i feel for her family and friends!I hope they catch the person or persons responsible.Its kinda scary to think this was close to home and you start to understand how other comunitys feel when faced with such tragic problems arise.We have our share of problems,but I personaly have never seen it this bad here untill now.While I dont feel safe like I have in the past,I trust our men and women on our police force and justic shall be served!
