March 12, 2008 – 4700 Block of Boulder Highway

On March 12, 2008 Metro police responded to the Road Runner RV Park after a report of a female in need of medical attention. When officers arrived, they found a 12-year-old female, later identified as Gloria Redman, suffering from several stab wounds. She died at the scene of the crime.

Gloria’s mother told investigators she had arrived home from grocery shopping and found her husband, William Redman, with cuts on both of his arms and her daughter deceased.

Redman, who was found outside of the residence by responding officers, was transported to Sunrise Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

After interviews with witnesses and examination of the crime scene, Homicide detectives have arrested 54-year-old William Redman and charged him with one count of murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
