Mariela Moreno’s body was discovered near Sunset Park February 29, 2008. She had been missing since the early morning hours of January 1, 2008.
The 20-year-old vanished without a trace. Her boyfriend, Isidro Munoz, was the last person to see her alive. He told police he had dropped her off at her home after a New Year’s Eve party but pulled his car away before she walked into the house.
In a February interview, Henderson police raised their suspicions. “From the moment detectives started working this missing person’s case, we felt there were some suspicious circumstances,” said Henderson Police Information Officer Todd Rasmussen.
For the past week, the coroner’s office has been working to positivity confirm her identity.
——UPDATED——
The Clark County Coroner says Moreno died of blunt force trauma to the head. Police are still investigating the case.
Why if they found the body of the poor girl have they not said how she died?

I agree. Nothing has been said of when do police think she died & what was the cause of death. We would like to know.
