Police are looking for three people involved in the shooting death of 18-year-old James Robert Williams.
Police say Williams was at Roadrunner Park near Boulder Highway and Racetrack Road on the night of July, 24, 2007. Williams got into a verbal exchange with the suspects and they began shooting at him. Williams was struck in the chest and died at the scene.
The suspects are described as three Hispanic males. Police have been unable to find any witnesses that got a clear view of the suspects but say they may have been driving a small, dark colored Honda or Hyundai.

This is to the 2 friends of James who were with him when he was shoot. You two need to come forward an tell the truth about what really happened that night in the park, I heard a story about someone named Kyle who lives across the street from the park with two other guys, and something about you guys stealing beer from them, James you are missed very much by your family. your father has not been the same sense your death, we love you, and won’t rest until the people a behind bars…

Two weeks from now will make one year since James’ tragic death. Someone out there knows something about what happened that night. They need to come forward so all of us that miss him so dearly can have some sort of closure. It appears that the detectives have already forgotten about my son. My family suffers with this each and every day. Someone needs to have a heart. James deserved so much better than this. Please help us solve this crime.
