Just after midnight on February 20, 2008, Metro Police got a 911 call reporting a home invasion in the 9400 block of Forbes Field Court. The caller said a man had been shot.
Patrol officers arrived and found a 27-year-old male, identified as Robert Turner, deceased from gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives were called and began investigating.
They found that a female arrived at the home just before midnight. She was confronted by two black male adults, both in their 20’s, wearing dark clothing. Those men forced her into the house at gunpoint.
A short time later, the male resident and another female entered the house. A confrontation ensued, and the male victim was shot.
Police say the two suspects were seen running away from the house. Officers believe robbery was the motive but do not believe this robbery is part of a series.
Police ask anyone with information to call the homicide section at 828-3521 or CrimeStoppers at (702) 385-5555.
