Her parents reported her missing at approximately 6:00 p.m.

On December 31, 1983 a construction worker reported a dead body in the desert area near Spring Mountain and Buffalo. Diana was identified by her parents.

ois_icecream_03_180.jpgA valley woman has died after being shot by a Henderson Police Officer.

It started with Henderson Police pulling over a speeding ice cream truck driven by 65- year-old Zyber Selimaj.

According to police, the man became combative and did not want to sign the citation. Police thought there might be a language barrier.

Why list people killed by police?

Police say he threatened officers and himself. Then he got his wife on the phone and she showed up in her ice cream truck, with her two children.

Police said she was irate and came out of the ice cream truck with a knife. She then held the knife to the throat of her young son. Police were able to get the child away from her and he was not hurt.

Officers then tried to use their Tasers to subdue her but they didn’t work.

Police say they then shot the woman after she made aggressive actions towards them. She was taken to Sunrise Trauma where she later died from her injuries.

The children were taken to Child Haven and are okay, but the husband is in jail, charged with obstruction of justice and his traffic citations.

The 23-year-old officer has been placed on routine administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.
