Henderson police are investigating after a home invasion shooting last night.

Authorities say two armed men broke into a home about 11 p.m. in a gated community near Valle Verde and Horizon Ridge Parkway.

A 50-year-old homeowner was wounded before police arrived. One suspect was arrested after shooting himself a short distance from the home. The other was found in a nearby restaurant.

  2. Where are the details? Address? Who got shot? Was there anyone else in the house during the shooting. Reason for the shooting?

  3. Yes there was an elderly woman in the home. She says they first cut the power to the home, while she was looking for candles they busted in. Took her into kitchen and the other home invader went down the hallway and shot her son in law. They are both fine and the people have recovered. They are currently staying at a hotel awaiting a new home.
