The attorney for the family of the ice cream lady shot and killed by a Henderson police officer says an independent autopsy proves Deshira Selimaj was on the ground when she was shot.
Henderson Police claim officer Luke Morrison shot her to defend a fellow officer from attack. They say the woman threatened them with a knife after her husband called her when he was pulled over for a traffic violation.

But eyewitnesses to the shooting were outraged. They spoke out, saying there was no need for officers to kill the woman.
A coroner's inquest on the shooting is scheduled April 10 and 11, and will air on our sister station, Las Vegas One.

Hopefully this autopsy was performed by a respectable pathologist and not some turd-world hack or affirmative action case. It will need to stand up in court down the road, because we know what’s going to come out of the coroner’s inquest.
Thinking of taking those days off work to try and sneak in, or at least watch live at home.

I hope the news will stop helping this man and his lawyer crusify the police. Just wait until the inquest is over and see what the truth is because I don’t think any of you know what it is. This man is the one at fault, but for his actions his wife would still be here and none of this is would be happending. I intend to watch this on Las Vegas one. I only hope the media will not try and put ther own spinn on this.

The local cops have a history of shooting “suspects” for little or no reason–especially if their ethnicity is other than Caucasian. How Luke Morrison (Deshira Selimaj’s killer) can sleep, having shot this unfortunate woman in the presence of her young child, is beyond understanding. Perhaps he’s a sociopath? It’s a disgrace! Who’s policing the police? No one, it appears. The family has sued; hopefully, they will win millions.
