Nathan Burton has been announced as the next entertainer to appear inside the Flamingo’s main showroom. The show, Nathan Burton Comedy Magic will begin April 21 and will feature flamingo-clad showgirls. It will run Friday to Wednesday at 4 p.m. with ticket prices ranging from $34 to $44 (plus tax and fees).

 Bette Midler’s new show, The Showgirl Must Go On, is coming soon to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace – debuting on Feb. 20. Today, tickets for June and July went on sale and they’ll run from$95 to $250 – plus handling fees, of course. She will be doing 100 performances a year, five nights a week (missing Mondays and Thursday) at 7:30 p.m. Incidentally, Midler was on Oprah today, discussing her Vegas show. There’s a lot goin’ on in Las Vegas this weekend. On Saturday, Hawaiian Tropic Zone at the Miracle Mile Shops is hosting an event at 8 p.m. with hand-selected VIP guests, dining on food by David Burke and sounds mixed by DJ Rashida — as well as performances by the Hawaiian Tropic Zone girls and the Don Tiki dancers.  According to the entertainment website, TMZ, James Srodon has sued the Las Vegas-based show, saying he was “forcibly restrained” in his seat while the Blue Men shoved an “esophagus cam” into his mouth. Srodon claims to now suffer from nightmares and is seeking $50,000 in damages.
