The World’s Happiest Mayor Oscar Goodman officially proclaimed May 25th “Rick Faugno Day” in Las Vegas to coincide with National Tap Dance Day in honor of Rick and his triple-threat dancing, singing and acting contributions. Faugno performs as the original Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” and has a critically-acclaimed hit one-man show, “Songs My Idols Sang and (Danced).”

Caesars Palace headliner, Matt Goss, had a busy weekend.  He met the one and only CHER on Saturday night before peforming his 10 p.m. show at the Gossy Room at Cleopatra’s Barge.   He also attended Cher’s show on Saturday before meeting up with her backstage.  Goss also attended performer Rick Faugno’s one man show at the Southpoint Hotel on Sunday afternoon.

Jersey Boys Las Vegas celebrated its second anniversary at The Palazzo.  The show celebrated with a platinum record commemoration along with two of the Four Seasons thesmselves!  Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio reunited for the event!

The 63^rd Annual Tony Awards are on Sunday, June 7th on KLAS-TV Channel 8 and one of Las Vegas’ own JERSEY BOYS will peform during the LIVE show.

In addition to numbers by each of the Tony-nominated Best Musicals and Best Musical Revivals, it was announced that JERSEY BOYS will perform as part of a special feature on touring productions.  

With three national companies to select from – Chicago, Las Vegas and the tour – Las Vegas’ own Rick Faugno, who currently stars as Frankie Valli, will be one of the featured entertainers during this special performance.  JERSEY BOYS received the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical and this appearance will celebrate the success the show has enjoyed throughout the country.
