Jenni “JWoww” Farley from the hit reality MTV series Jersey Shore celebrated her 25th birthday with N9NE Group in Palms Casino Resort. Kicking the night off, JWoww, her boyfriend Tom Lippolis and eight of her friends ate at NOVE Italiano on Saturday (2.27.10). Enjoying their table in the middle of the dining room, the group was served a family style menu that consisted of pizzas, calamari and panzanella salads for appetizers, chicken parm, bolognese and pennette alla vodka for the main course and for dessert, Executive Chef Geno Bernando personally brought out a birthday cake for JWoww. Everybody in the main dining room sang happy birthday to her.

After dinner, JWoww and her Dad went to Playboy Club and were both presented with a Playboy key. After the key presentation, JWoww and her friends headed over to Moon Nightclub to keep the birthday festivities going. Partying the night away, the group had their own table and enjoyed Ketel One mixed drinks. Around 1:30 a.m. JWoww and her group headed over to Rain Nightclub where they partied on the main stage and were fist pumping to Junkie XL’s beats.

Matt Goss kicked of Labor Day weekend with his new show at the Palms Casino Resort.  “Matt Goss Live from Las Vegas” is produced by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin.  Goss is a London based singer who sold 17 million copies of his album worlwide.  The show includes dancers and a band.

Tickets are $25 and the show is every Friday & Saturday at 10 p.m.

Michael Jackson was honored on his 51st birthday (8/29) with a tribute concert at the Pearl at the Palms.  The event included peformers from up and down the Las Vegas Strip and was organized by columnist Steve Friess & Jersey Boys peformer, Erich Bergen.  It raised more than 100 thousand dollars for the Clark County Public Schools Music Program.

Later that night, Michael Jackson was honored by Brenden Theaters with a special star.  Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, was there to accept the honor.  He said he wished his son was there to see it.

Local hometown boys Adelitas Way held their CD release party this week with a performance and party at The Lounge inside Palms Casino Resort. Their self-titled debut was released on Virgin/EMI Music and a select number of fans were able to join friends and family at the celebration.

The group played their lead single “Invincible” during the set. The song was recently used to promote the finale of “CSI Miami” on CBS. (more…)
