On Saturday night Mariah Carey performed her final performance in a set of four sold out shows at The Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort.

The show was full of surprises! During the show, a young male couple was brought on stage for a surprise wedding proposal. Mariah also belted out a Happy Birthday tune to her hubby Nick Cannon who was at the soundboard during the whole show dancing.

Nick also celebrated his birthday at the Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio on Saturday night.

This weekend brought the first set of Mariah Carey shows to The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort. On Saturday night, Mariah was backstage with singer Matt Goss and Palms Casino Resort owner George Maloof prior to the grand opening of “Matt Goss Live From Las Vegas.”

Nicole Scherzinger who joined Goss on stage for a few numbers, producer and Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin, MTV alums Daisy Fuentes and Downtown Julie Brown, singer Deborah Gibson and Bravo TV’s Blow Out star Jonathan Antin.

On Thursday night Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey celebrated their one-year anniversary at the Palms Casino Resort. The night started out with dinner for 50 family and friends at Simon at Palms Place. There were candles set up on the tables and a sign that read Happy Anniversary Mariah & Nick. Guests enjoyed the surf and turf with sides of Macaroni Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. For dessert, guests enjoyed Crème Brule and chocolate chip cookies.

After dinner the party moved to Moon Nightclub inside the fantasy tower at the Palms shortly after midnight. They gathered together with their friends and family in a VIP booth where Nick surprised Mariah with a video presentation of great moments from their first year of marriage. (more…)
