According to the website TMZ, Gary Dourdan, who played Warrick on the CBS drama, “CSI,” has been picked up in Palm Springs on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. Apparently, law enforcement sources told the gossip site that the actor was asleep in his car when they approached it and made the bust. They say he was taken to the Palm Springs jail where he posted $5,000 to get out.

According to the Associated Press, Anthony E. Zuiker, creator and executive producer of the “CSI” franchise, is planning to write his memoirs to be released in the fall of 2009. In the book, he discusses his gangster father and the decisions he made during his journey from Las Vegas bellhop to Hollywood mogul. (more…)
