The case stems from two murders that happened back in 2005. Prosecutors say the crime is partly because of a west coast, Midwest rap war.

Andre “Mac Minister” Dow who is a 37-year-old rapper from San Francisco, is standing trial in the slayings of 24-year-old Anthony “Fat Tone” Watkins and 22-year-old Jermaine Akins.
