Jersey Shore’s Pauly D Signs Exclusive Vegas DJ Residency

“Jersey Shore” reality TV star, Pauly D (Paul Delvecchio) enjoyed the royal treatment at the Palms Casino Resort this weekend. Pauly D has signed on an exclusive DJ residency with 9 Group this spring.

He was spotted all over property. He began Friday night by enjoying a quick bite inside N9NE Steakhouse where he sat at the bar and ordered the 12-ounce filet with mashed potatoes.

Following N9NE Steakhouse, Pauly D headed upstairs to Nove Italiano
where he enjoyed a second meal with five others. Before dinner, George Maloof stopped by the table to say hello and chat for a bit. The group feasted on signature dishes sent out by Executive Chef Geno Bernardo, including: sausage pizza, calamari, burrata, Bolognese and veal Nove. Pauly D was later seen in the kitchen signing Chef Geno’s famous celebrity door and taking photos with Geno and Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake of N9NE Steakhouse.

After Nove Italiano, Pauly D and his party made their way upstairs to Playboy Club where he was presented with a coveted Playboy Club key.

Continuing the long evening, Pauly D then headed to ghostbar where he spun his beats on the turntables in front of a packed house. Pauly D and friends enjoyed the scene from a table in the VIP room where they sipped on Ketel One mixed drinks and FIJI Water.

Around 2:30 a.m. Pauly D and his group made one last stop at Rain Nightclub where DJ Jazzy Jeff had the crowd dancing to his music.

Other celebrities from the evening included: NFL free agent Adam
Archuleta who dined at N9NE Steakhouse with five friends and reality TV star from “The Girls Next Door Holly Madison who partied at Playboy Club with a five others.

Terry Fator Celebrates One Year at Mirage

Saturday night Terry Fator celebrated his one year anniversary as a
headliner at The Mirage. After a star-studded red carpet which included Fred Willard, Mad Men’s Rich Sommer and Michael Gladis, American Idol’s Kimberley Locke, Maeve Quinlan, Kristy Swanson and more – Fator took the stage and put on a great show where he introduced the audience to his new character Wrex - a crash test dummy who sings songs about cars including Little Red Corvette and Ridin’ Dirty.

During the show members of The Laff Pack, as they are fondly called, Carrot Top and Frank Caliendo, joined Fator on stage. Carrot Top came through the back of the showroom to borrow some money for a great hand of blackjack he was playing – Fator didn’t have it, but luckily puppet Walter did and gladly gave Carrot Top $100 dollars. Caliendo took the stage later in the evening and wowed audiences with his quick impressions of Bill Clinton, George Bush, Dr. Phil, Robin Williams and more. The Laff Pack includes Fator, Caliendo and Carrot Top – the performers are known for making surprise appearances in each other’s shows.

Following the performance, Fator, along with James Kyson Lee, Katherine
Boecher, Pawn Stars’ Rick and Corey Harrison and others headed to B.B.
King’s Blues Club where Terry and his band jammed while guests enjoyed
cupcakes from The Cupcakery (decorated with the photos of puppets from the show of course!).

New Show, “Fly Girls,” Premieres at Lagasse’s Stadium

The Stars came out to celebrate the CW’s “Fly Girls” Premiere at Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo on Friday night. The City’s Roxy Olin looked sexy in a black Bec and Bridge dress and hot pink Isaac Mizrahi for QVC clutch with leopard print pumps commenting upon arrival that she could not wait to go shopping at The Shoppes at The Palazzo, especially Barneys New York! Olin was so happy to relax at The Palazzo after a busy filming schedule with “The City” and took advantage of a massage at Canyon Ranch Spaclub and dinner at LAVO.

Real Housewife Gretchen Rossi dazzled in a gray satin Bebe dress and love was in the air! She even had rhinestone hearts on her red polished toenails. She and boyfriend Slade Smiley were embracing and hand in hand on the red carpet, never letting each other go. When asked if she would be getting married to Slade (he asked her father for her hand in last week’s episode), she said, “I’ve been married, we’re just having fun now.” And never one to disappoint, Gretchen gave us some Real Housewives dish. For the first time in Housewife history the men will be at the reunion show. Her prediction, “Vicki will storm off the show and all the men will give Slade a hard time.” She and Slade were just at The Palazzo for Valentines Day. “We love the Palazzo!” “From the suites to the shopping to the restaurants its amazing!”

Dancing with the Stars and Brothers and Sisters star Gilles Marini was all smiles as he mentioned this was his first time at The Palazzo. “I’m so excited to be here and to have shrimp at Lagasse’s Stadium.” Gilles also enjoyed playing a game of pool inside the luxury boxes at Stadium. “This is great!,” he exclaimed. When asked if he knew who the newest cast members were for the next season of Dancing With the Stars he nodded but remained tightlipped. Inside the party he was seen dipping Gretchen Rossi. Could she be a possible new contestant on the hit show? He did drop that he would be “visiting the show” during the season.

Melrose Place hottie Shaun Sipos came down from his Palazzo suite in good spirits. “Let’s Roll!” he said while being escorted inside the party. He even dropped that in the new season of Melrose Place he and another character would start committing burglaries and someone would wind up in jail! After the premiere, Sipos and friends went up to LAVO nightclub to continue the festivities. Sipos also enjoyed a deep tissue massage at Canyon Ranch Spaclub and dinner at hotspot LAVO.

Inside the party guests sipped on fun cocktails such as the “Palazzopolitan” and “Fly Girl Flirtini,” sponsored by Veev, Ambhar, Belvedere and Tyku, while enjoying delicious Lagasse’s Stadium appetizers such as Beef Roulade, Creole Broiled Shrimp, Sausage & Peppers Stromboli and Chicken Satay and Mini Double Chocolate Cupcakes and Mini NY Style Cheescakes, all seasoned with the flavor profile that made celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse famous.

“Fly Girls,” will debut on March 24, 2010 on The CW. Be sure to watch the “Fly Girls” episode featuring The Palazzo on Wednesday, April 14.

JWoww from “Jersey Shore” Celebrates B-day in LV

Jenni “JWoww” Farley from the hit reality MTV series Jersey Shore celebrated her 25th birthday with N9NE Group in Palms Casino Resort. Kicking the night off, JWoww, her boyfriend Tom Lippolis and eight of her friends ate at NOVE Italiano on Saturday (2.27.10). Enjoying their table in the middle of the dining room, the group was served a family style menu that consisted of pizzas, calamari and panzanella salads for appetizers, chicken parm, bolognese and pennette alla vodka for the main course and for dessert, Executive Chef Geno Bernando personally brought out a birthday cake for JWoww. Everybody in the main dining room sang happy birthday to her.

After dinner, JWoww and her Dad went to Playboy Club and were both presented with a Playboy key. After the key presentation, JWoww and her friends headed over to Moon Nightclub to keep the birthday festivities going. Partying the night away, the group had their own table and enjoyed Ketel One mixed drinks. Around 1:30 a.m. JWoww and her group headed over to Rain Nightclub where they partied on the main stage and were fist pumping to Junkie XL’s beats.

Kim Kardashian Launches Perfume at Tao & NASCAR

Kim Kardashian kicked off her weekend by hosting at Tao Nightclub. She was promoting her new fragrance. Here she is pictured with her Mom!

Sunday, she held a press conference at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway NASCAR event. Mike Bliss (#36) drove Kardashian’s Fragrance car in the race.

Stars Team Up for Poker Fundraiser

Stars such as Tony Hawk, Christian Slater, Brad Garrett, Jason Alexander, Joanna Krupa, Montel Williams, Donnie Wahlberg, Marlon Waynes and Slash were among the 39 players who competed in the $540 event in The Venetian Poker Room – raising more than $42,000 for Three Square, a food charity in Southern Nevada.

AJ Buckley from CSI NY, Nicholas Gonzalez and Shaun Sipos of CW’s Melrose Place and UFC fighter Tito Ortiz were also in attendance.

Christian Slater was amazingly friendly and a fan favorite. He kept jumping up from the poker table to take photos with the fans lining the aisles. A bounty was put on Daniel Negreanu and the prize – a signed guitar by Slash – went to actor Donnie Wahlberg. Donnie said he was going to give the guitar to his son.

Zak “Zakooza” Alameddine from New York won the event and a ticket into next year’s PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas. He beat top poker pros such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, world champion Joe Cada, Gavin Griffin, Dennis Phillips, Chris Moneymaker and Vanessa Rousso.

Baseball legend, Orel Hershiser, came second winning a seat in the NAPT Mohegan Sun event in April. John Beveridge from Henderson, Nevada, came third and won a seat into today’s $5,000 PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour Venetian Main Event which is set to attract more than 800 players.

After playing in the tournament, the stars headed up to TAO Nightclub for cocktails, hors dourves and a special musical performance by recording artist T-Pain.

Viva Elvis! World Premiere at Aria (Pictures & Review)

The world premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s Viva Elvis! was a star studded event. Celebrities packed the blue carpet. Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla, was on hand for the opening.

I saw the show after working the blue carpet and wanted to give you an idea of what it was like. Overall, I enjoyed it. I was entertained. The colors, the costumes, the dancers, the signers… were all great. Could it use a little extra something? I’d have to say, “yes.”

Maybe the something is more Cirque. More acrobats. More performances that make you say, WOW.

This being said, I enjoyed the old clips of Elvis Presley. Especially the ones of him going off to the military. I also never realized HOW MANY women he kisssed in movies!

My favorite numbers were the military, Jail House Rock, and the superheroes scene (some amazing Cirque moves in this part of the show.)

The show ended with “Viva Las Vegas.” This was a Jubilee style number. Colorful costumes and a large number of performers on stage.

Viva Elvis! is more of a mix of Cirque and Broadway. Many people have asked me, “is it just like the show LOVE?” No it’s not. It is different.

I think it will only get better. I think it’s worth seeing and you will walk away happy. It’s fun and it’s emotional too. It’s the King of Rock & Roll!!

Sugarfactory Opens: “The Situation,” Mel B, Kendra Host

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore, Mel B and Kendra Wilkinson Baskett hosted the opening of Sugarfactory at the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops on Sunday.

Large crowds showed up to watch the red carpet. Sorrentino even lifted up his shirt for the crowd and cameras, exposing what he refers to as “The Situation.”
