Bette Midler’s Final Show at Caesars
Bette Midler performed her final performance of ‘The Showgirl Must Go On Sunday night at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Gladys Knight joined Bette on stage for a song (The Way We Were) before Bette’s final Encore. Bette sat behind Gladys in awe at times during the song.
Bette started to do a Celine Dion song for her final Encore as a joke(and a nod to the artist who was the resident at The Colosseum for 5 years) and then Celine Dion popped up on the screen behind Bette to congratulate her and say farewell.
Bette then appropriately performed ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ and took her final bow with her full cast and crew behind her! (More pictures on next page, click “read the rest of this entry”)
