Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles. The “Pop Icon” has had many connections to Las Vegas. We have a picture of him taken last summer at Planet Hollywood Restaurant at Caesars Palace. The picture was taken on August 27, 2008 by Denise Truscello from Wireimage.
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino also remembered Jackson Thursday night. The Resort’s marquee memorialized Jackson’s life.

I was sorry to hear about Michael Jackson’s passing. I too grew up listening and loving all of his songs. But do we really have to repeat 100,000 times that Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 of cardiac arrest? There is nothing new to report. All the news stations up to CNN are repeating the same information as if everyone doesn’t already know that he has died. Apparently the news stations have no other news to report.

Is that picture of Michael Jackson in Las Vegas – Planet Hollywood doctored? His torso looks way too long in that picture.
I do enjoy your photography — but this one really threw me.

Hi Geneva, No this picture is not doctored at all. I think it’s a combination of two things, what he is wearing (baggy pants, long jacket) and how skinney he is. I don’t doctor any pictures. Sometimes I resize them to fit. Hope this helps!
