Jersey Boys will Perform at Tony Awards on CBS

“Ghost Whisperer” star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Jamie Kennedy stopped by the Palazzo this week to see the show, JERSEY BOYS. After the show they went backstage to meet the cast.
Also, Thursday, the featured performances for the 63rd Annual Tony Awards were announced. In addition to numbers by each of the Tony-nominated Best Musicals and Best Musical Revivals, it was announced that JERSEY BOYS will perform as part of a special feature on touring productions.
With three national companies to select from – Chicago, Las Vegas and the tour – Las Vegas’ own Rick Faugno, who currently stars as Frankie Valli, will be one of the featured entertainers during this special performance. JERSEY BOYS received the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical and this appearance will celebrate the success the show has enjoyed throughout the country.
The Tony Awards will be broadcast live in HD, from Radio City Music Hall on CBS, Sunday, June 7th, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). The 2009 Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. For more information, please visit www.TonyAwards.com.
