The Killers Rock The Joint at Hard Rock

flowers.jpgdave-killers.jpgThe Vegas hometown band, The Killers, de-Flower the new Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Friday night to a sold out show of 4,000 fans. They rocked out a wide-ranging set list (both new and old) that featured a large sampling of cuts from “Day & Age,” the best of which were “This Is Your Life,” “I Can’t Stay” and “Joy Ride.” The band also offered the curious “Human,” which asks the musical question, “Are we human, or are we dancer?”

The new Joint was packed, but there was plenty of space to stand.  From every spot, you could see the band peform.  The Killers’ Brandon Flowers thanked the Hard Rock and crowd for the warm welcome.  He said he was humbled to be part of the Grand Opening night.

Several other concerts are coming up, including Kenney Chesney and Bon Jovi.
