Our state is in the limelight after the Democrats’ debate. Tuesday night’s debate was touted as a way for minorities to get their questions answered by the top three Democratic candidates.
Despite a court battle to get the fourth candidate involved, Dennis Kucinich was not allowed to participate.
The three who were invited, Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and former Senator John Edwards began the debate in a lovefest over their diverse backgrounds.

OBAMA’S DEMISE LOOMS CLOSER!
WHEN THE GOP’s AND THE DEM’S GET DONE WITH THIS HE WON’T SEE FEB 5TH!
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama freely admits he doesn’t have the experience to run a bureaucracy.
But he’s banking on the fact voters aren’t looking for a “chief operating officer” in this election.
“I have a pretty good sense of my strengths and my weaknesses,” he said today during a meeting with the Reno Gazette-Journal editorial board.”I am very good at teasing out from people who are smarter than me what the issues are and how we resolve them,” he said. “I don’t think there is anybody in this race who can inspire the American people better than I can. And I don’t think there is anybody in this race who can bridge differences … better than I can.
“But I’m not an operating officer. Some in this debate around experience seem to think the job of the president is to go in and run some bureaucracy. Well, that’s not my job. My job is to set a vision of ‘here’s where the bureaucracy needs to go.’”

Edwards by far the best, on topic, gave clear concise answers, although he was shorted questions and time in the debate he won the fox news test audience over!
after all the bickering of clinton and obama Iam sick and tired of their pampas, arrogant media darling created attitudes! when does obama ever say anything that isn’t “I” or clintons ME ME ME……it’s all sad sad sad….
Edwards is the only one that says YOU YOU YOU!
I want a president that will stand up for my rights and Fight for them! I don’t want some pansy who will lie down with those lobbyists…..America get’s raped everytime they sell us out to special interests.

OBAMA….is yesterdays news…..that is once the Gop’s and the Dem’s shred him up with this:

I was disappointed that the topic of “Equal Marriage for All Citizens” was not brought up, especially on a night supposedly focusing on minority issues. While the candidates each espouse – in their various manner – moving forward on LGBT issues, I strongly feel their support of Civil Unions instead of Equal Marriage Rights for All is playing right into the “Seperate but Equal” mentality that kept African-Americans from receiving equal education rights not long ago in this country. While I believe any Democratic candidate is better on this issue than any Republican candidate – I am still very disappointed that they all seem to want to avoid this “unpopular” issue; and may keep a substantial percentage of voters undecided durign this caucus process.

Obama is articulate and accurate in what he says. He will be a decisive president and achieve much in united a very divided country.
I found Clinton to be East Coast educated with little vision for the rest of the country and quite willing to continue with Washington in a status quo. I’m not willing to lie down for the same old stuff.
Obama is the only one bringing a clear vision of change and having a plan to reach his objective built on a sound base.
My disappointment last night was the debate was not live on the local channel; cable users had to go to MSNBC but the guide on the TV clearly stated the local channel would have the debate not game shows.

I disagree with Obama experience is important to me. Bush has this country in a mess (another man with little experience). Obama comes across as nice and says what minorities want to hear. He promises too much, where is all this money coming from? What will he do about our growing national debt. How will he stop China at the gate from sending poison goods to this country? What will he do about illegals already in this country overtaxing our welfare system? He is trying to become president by promising goods he can’t deliver. Obama has little experience…I’ve read his background and there is little that would qualify him to hold the highest job in this country. Maybe after he has held his Senate seat for a few more years I’d consider him but not now. Bush will hand over a mess for the next president to clean up and it will take all the experience a person has to clean it up. I just can’t see an unqualified person taking on this task.

Why cant I find a list of at large caucus site any where? Iwant to participate but theyre makeing it dificult. I’m working so I have to use one of these at large sites. I need to part of knocking Obama out of this race. Hes making unrealistic promises he’ll never be able to keep. The fact that he gives a good speech doesnt qualify him to be president. I cant believe his supporters can’t see through him.

From reading about the caucus on your web site it seems like that if you are an independent you will not be allowed to caucus unless you switch to either Republican or Democrat.

This is the first Caucus held in the state of Nevada and everyone we have spoken with hopes it will be the last – we do not agree with the process and would much rather have a primary election. How many voters do you really think are going to come out and register and then stand in a corner and wait to find out who your precinct is going to choose and wait some more to find out who has the biggest group to decide who the presidential nominee will be….a primary election would bring out more voters which could result in a different presidential nominee. NO MORE CAUCUS FOR NEVADA
