Why, even in a small town in India - Hisar, we have been having solar lights for two years now; And it works; only one has to swipe the solar panels clean every 15 days (so the dust/pollution comes off); We are pleased to see the US cities going green; every effort to save energy is laudable given the dangers of global warming;It is upto the individuals to make the decisions - not wait for governments to do what is necessary to save the only "home" that we human beings have.
