Great idea … just give some crazy person or bored teen a good idea of what to do. If this report is ’still classified’ how did George Knapp get it and why is he sharing this ‘vulnerable target’ with the public!

So chlorine is the basis for chemical warfare.
You might have mentioned it is the basis for safe drinking water. Perhaps you’d to forego Cl , or the other similar alternatives in your water and experience the joys of, say, cholera.

Hmm a secret key, bet it’s stamped UP RR on it; maybe you should return stolen property. As to the damage it will cause you didn’t talk to a employee of Union Pacific or any other Class one railroad. They would have told you what you could or could not do with your magic key. Nothing you wrote, but you knew that didn’t you?
Better improve on doing your homework on railroading George, get the facts because you are off the mark and scaring people. Great piece of fiction, bet it scares a number of people but it is far from factual. You working for Oscar now? He’s not fond of Union Pacific either. So George become the newsman, I like Channel eight if I want bull I’ll turn to F** news

I suggest you look at Assembly Bill 140 in front of the 2005 Assembly Transportation Subcommittee check out the testimony. Also look at Assembly Bill AB-340 in the 2007 session of the Assembly Transportation Committee again check out the testimony. These two bill are spot on. Your critics are idiots that are just putting their heads in the sand. I cannot disclose my name I would be fired in a heartbeat.

If we really had a terrorist problem the railroads would be an easy target.So would any mall at Christmastime,or any L.V. hotel or anywhere there are people.We are creating a terrorist problem by our imperialistic ways.If 9/11 happened as we were told why didn’t they crash those planes into nuclear reactors instead of buildings.Oh the damage they could have done.

That is some really scary reporting, To some who is totally clueless about the railroads. Which would be
99.9 percent of the population, who do not work for or around the rail industry. However I agree with the previous blogger “T”, that the railroads would be an easy target if we really had a terrorist problem. And to think that the railroad could possibly tell Las Vegas when a shipment of something dangerous is coming to town. They would never hang up the phone, because when the first car was leaving town the 1,000th car would be entering. Its like trying to police the internet, IMPOSSIBLE. And that key can be had by anyone with an ebay and paypal account. Check it out.
Just like anything else illegal that you could possibly want. As far as terrorist go, most are followers, with a lot of space between their ears. All it takes is one smart one with a US College degree to fill up that space with his own ideas, then you have a programmed zombie to do your bidding.

Tony and Tommy are not railroad employees, they are employees of a company that transports railroad employees. Most of them are underpaid and felons, that cannot get a job any other way. I dont think that being a felon makes them a national security risk, they just may not be desirable people to be around. And the companies they work for cheat them by not paying overtime or compensating them properly. If the national minimum wage was above $12.50 an hour they could probably get good people. I just hope they do not start hiring illegal aliens. But that is another story.
