Hepatitis Investigation Finds Common Link
The Southern Nevada Health District has linked the hepatitis C virus back to one person, on one day, for at least half of the confirmed cases.
This entire investigation started at the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada on Shadow Lane. Seven of the eight confirmed acute cases of hepatitis linked to unsafe medical practices came from the clinic. There is now a criminal, federal investigation and a health district investigation.

One thing most drug users know [though they may not adhere to it] and that nurses are trained to understand, is that you do NOT use the same needle on two people, not even the same person, you get a new one. A good nurse will use one needle to get the dose from the vial and another to inject, as the first gets dull and the poke is more painful, but these people are idiots!!
There is NO excuse for behavior using a needle more than once, what do they cost now, 2 cents? To say they were told to do this is no excuse either, and trained medical professional would have walked out! How far is the health district from the clinic, across the street or a block away? I would have said no and promptly reported this, not participated and hoped I could blame the crap doc who told me to break the rules. I hope they all get jail time, every one of them.

I agree, all of them should definitely do jail time for a long time. That was very selfish and greedy of that doctor to make the nurses reuse needles so that he didn’t have to pay a whole 2 cents for new needles…cheap bastard!! He has a huge expensive house and who knows how many cars…I just don’t think that a few needles would’ve hurt his budget. That’s also pretty selfish of the nurses to choose their jobs over people’s health. Didn’t they think for a minute that someone might turn them in for this…Now look what happened, they ended up losing their jobs anyway!! Can we say stupid!

Well, to start with, I think nurses are inherently missing a common sense gene, and yes, the doctors and nurses at this clinic are greedy and stupid. I hope Mr. Labus keeps finding these idiots who seem to try to make their own rules.
