I'll call this all my opinion, which the law entitles me to. Let me just say that there is MUCH evidence of the many many of schemes, payoffs and celebrations re: the payoffs, and there are cooperating eye witnesses to so many illegal activities, as well as to witness tampering and coaching. It will all come out sooner or later, but you who think ANY of the named doctors and lawyers are 'innocent' are in for a really rude awakening. Awand is a pathological liar, a user and a fraud to such a huge extent that none of you can imagine,as is Vannah, his BIGGEST partner in crime. Do NOT waste time and energy defending any of them. You just have NO idea how heinous this all really is. Wait until you hear what's to be made public when the various trials continue. There isn't ONE of the people suspected who wasn't involved to my knowledge. Let's HOPE that the remaining trials can proceed fairly. There were several JUDGES involved in this whole ring as well. For the sake of all who can't afford medical insurance due to precisely these kinds of abuses theft, greed and fraud,let's HOPE there is eventual justice. See ya in court. He installed an unapproved device in my best friend in 2003, when he did not do the prescribed surgery. In 2007, he had to re-operated and fractured the device (actually there are 2 of them and he fractured both) and left them in her. She did not find out what he had done until June 2008 when she saw her medical records. He also falsified her medical records, even going so far as to say she was in a car accident (never happened) to give a reason for her continuing and progressively worsening medical problems. He and his big haired vicious wife met me on the plane to Stowe, Vermont - where I was moving at the time and didn't know a soul yet. I had hoped to set up a nice place for myself and daughter. Little did I know what was in store for me at their crazy hands! He phoned one day and asked if I could type. 'Can I!" I said, and on the spot he hired me to take dictation and help him with emails. He and his wife were both there during the offer, and they assured me I was doing them a great big favor because she was going to be so busy setting up their new house and had done that work for him up til then. Well, within less than two months, after I'd been yelled at, locked in a dark room with five dogs all day every day, instructed to do nothing, forbidden use of the internet or phones for personal calls, they came home from a trip and accused me of all kinds of insane (untrue) things and fired me on the spot. I'd done nothing wrong, and had just rented a house I could not at all afford without the salary they'd promised me. I spent the following year heating our home by cranking the oven and leaving it open (because we didn't have to pay for propane) while feeding my daughter Ramen as I worked two jobs just to pay the rent. In the beginning they claimed they were going to look after us and talked of college funds for my daughter as they tramped all over our new town bragging about all the benevolent things they'd done for so many people. Yeah right. He fired me because his wife got jealous and no other reason. That soul-less, insensitive, unprovoked act took years to recover from financially and emotionally. It traumatized my daughter and I and cost me a year of hard labor, and both of us a frigid cold, hungry winter. But after reading all of this, all I can say is I got off easy! At least I'm not paralyzed. That man is the devil, and his wife is a hound from hell. I hope they do go to jail. I can't think of anyone since OJ and the Bushies that deserve it more than them.
