<description>For your information the UCMJ memorandum has only been in law since 2007 . . mercenaries or private soldiers fighting in Iraq since the beginning of the war

UCMJ aside .. the point of this article is to say that tax payers money is being exploited . . and it is . . no doubt about it

<description>I was disappointed that you chose not to air your story on High Desert Training Group/SOC-SMG. Upon reading the text for the story online I am glad that it did not air. The "mercenary" slant truly displays your ignorance of the actual mission of security contractors. Contractors provide services that allow our nations fighting men to do just that, focus on the war. In regards to your comments about not being held accountable for their actions you need to check your facts. They are in fact held accountable by the UCMJ. The same laws that apply to our soldiers apply to contractors. It is the enforcement of the law by the UCMJ that is lacking. Mr. Humberts narrative is a poorly researched and highly biased attempt to make a story out of perceptions given by "experts" who clearly reveal themselves as knowing very little about the industry they speak of. Portraying such a bias to gain viewers is a weak attempt at investigative journalism. Do something different than your competitors, research your facts and report the truth.
