It is the deadliest shooting rampage in U.S. history. The tragedy unfolded on the campus of Virginia Tech Monday morning before classes started when two people were killed.

Two hours later, in a different part of campus, the gunman opened fire in a full classroom. He killed at least 32 people and then the shooter took his own life. Dozens more are injured.

Post your condolences and thoughts.

    Today’s world, no way!!

  4. My condolences to the families and friends of each victim. I can understand why the campus was not on lockdown - thre was no reason for a domestic disturbance turned violent; who could know. Those who claim othrwise make it more difficult for the survivors.

  8. My heart goes out to all those effected by this madman. I know people want to strike back in some way, but I hope the blame doesn’t fall on the Administration or Campus police. Their assumption that the first murder was an isolated incident was reasonable considering what they had to go on. No one could possibly anticipate this horror. To blame them is cruel. I’m sure they are as devasted as everyone else. Place the blame where it belongs, on a murdering psychopath.

  10. I just want to express my sorrow and sympathy to the victims and their families.
Lord knows how difficult this time may be.
Just remember that, although we may not know or understand why, God has a plan for everyone.
It is important to remain strong in your faith, whether it is Christian, Muslim, whatever. Everyone just needs to stay strong for each other. I am praying for all those who lost their lives and the survivors and the families of victims and survivors.
    God Bless You

  11. God bless each any every one of you, We are told in Proverbs (3:5-6) to lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge Him and he will make our paths straight. There will be questions we will always have and Jesus will carry us through!

  13. I first like to say that I am very sorry about what happened to all those innocent families, the students, and most impotant, to the VA Tech community. I just feel that this senseless act was unnecessary and was obviously not thought out very well. My heart goes out to the state of Virgina because this should not have happened at all. I feel that we should be more aware of those who steps foot on our college campuses where we are supposed to feel safe. I hope that one day soon we all will be to get passed this and look forward to a brighter day.
