I moved to las vegas in september on 2007. I was new to the area and didn't know about Perrfect Auto's reputation. The perrfect auto i am referring to is the one between Stewart and Charleston on Nellis Blvd. Well I became very aware when I took my car in there so they can fix what sounded like a small ticking noise like a screw was loose or so. Well $1600 later I have a blown motor to a vehicle that was great. I complined to the BBB. The manager in perrfect auto offered to replace the motor as long as I buy it. He offered to give me a discount on the labor too... whoo hooo. what a guy. I would like to sue them for only to pay a true machanic to replace my motor.

My fiance & I just watched the story on Brake Team a few minutes ago and we have been dealing with these people since August of 2007, we have had them repair our brakes twice! The last time was this last January since they failed to fix the original problem we had to return at that time for a second brake job from them. This time however, we had to replace the entire front and rear brake system. Now our brakes are shot again, were not Nascar drivers or anything, we drive a van and have 4 kids we taxi around but thats it and its absolutly ridiculous that we more than likely need to get our brakes redone AGAIN. We had never had ANY prior need for such frequent maintainence until we brought our vehicle there. We have left several messages for Brian ( the fellow on the news who is the district manager for brake team) & he has pretty much blown us off and had one of the mechanics from the shop we got our brakes done at return our call. This person was part of the problem so why would he have him call and not return the call himself?? We would like to know if there is anything we can do as well in regards to being compensated for possible unnecessary repairs. Thanks so much.

We have had on going trouble with our Brakes after having work done at Brake Team at 2 different locations. However; we are at our wits end with these people. We have about $600.00 maybe more rapped up in what ever they have or haven't done. Missed work due to taking the truck back in repeatedly. The brakes still are not how they should be... We are not sure what direction to turn next. We feel like Break Team should have to refund our money (especially since we were over charged to begin with) and Phil should be compensated for the wages missed out on due to not being able to work, since his work requires his truck... Please help us begin the procedure to get reimbursed.

I wrote on two occassions and yet my cmplaint regarding PURRFECT AUTO in LAS VEGAS NEVER GOT POSTED. They not only ripped me off, but then lied to my Insurance company regarding the repairs. Therefore I lost out on over $2200 on an insurance claim. The repairs were due to malicious damage to my car.

We were totally RIPPED off by Purrfect Auto on 7131 W. Craig Rd!!—

Chronological events –

?	19 June 2006 -- Brought 2002 Toyota Echo – (4 cylinders) into Purrfect Auto Repair Shop to have breaks replaced.
o	We were told by Repair Shop-- “Top of the Line” breaks (Bendix Brake pads & shoes # V2LLTHA77J) were put into vehicle – with 100% warranty certificate attached to invoice..
?	26 June 2006 – Returned car back to Purrfect Auto Repair Shop to have the breaks looked at because they were excessively squeaky.
o	We were told by Repair Shop – They took rotors off and grease break area to mitigate the loud squeaky noise.
?	9 Sept 2006 -- Returned car again to Purrfect Auto Repair Shop to have the breaks looked at AGAIN, because they were STILL excessively squeaky.
o	We were told AGAIN by Repair Shop – They replaced the break pads and shoes with new ones. – Also told that because they were brand new to please give the breaks a couple of months for the squeaky noise to go away.
?	4 Oct 07 -- Returned car again to have them replace brakes again – with our warranty because after a full year – the breaks are still squeaky --- they literally wake up the neighbors every morning!
o	Their SCAM -- Realized 4 October 2007 when we brought the car in to have the breaks replaced with our warranty , that they put a bogus odometer reading on our original receipt of 19 June 2006, when we had these faulty-defective brakes put in.
o	We told them we were going to report their customer’s scams to the media, in hopes they do not rip future customers off.
o	BOTTOM-LINE – They never made these brakes work right – after I paid $485.00, for all four breaks on my car.

Two years ago I had my oil changed at Purfect Automotive on Silverado Ranch. After they were done, they informed me that one of my rear drums had a groove worn in it. The car was two years old. I didn't ask them to inspect my brakes but the mechanic showed me the damage. I asked how it could have happened. He said a rock may have wedged between the shoe and the drum. The grove looked like it had been tooled. I was always suspect after that. I didn't repair or replace so the damage is still there. Since it is a back brake drum and I have front disc, it still stops fine. Someone should look further.

I had went to a Purrfect Auto Recently on Las Vegas Blvd in North Las Vegas. I came in for an oil change and was told I needed a new oil pan because the plug wouldn't go back in. I then informed them that the same Purrfect auto did my oil change just 2 months previous. After a long arguement, they informed me they would replace the plug for free. When I asked why did they tell me that I needed new oil pan, they said that they told me that A new plug would fix it. It took 4 hours for the oil pan to be fixed and the oil to be changed. I then proceeded to ask if the fluids were ok. They said they didn't have time to look at them. I made sure he popped the hood and did there job. I don't trust mechanics in vegas and am actually kind of scared to even get an oil change. What can we do as consumers?

We dropped our car off for an oil change at Nellis location north of Charleston. When we were paying a car caught fire near us and the manager grabbed me and tried to throw me thru the closed
waiting room door. I hurt my leg so he sent me to the UMC across the street, told us to bring the bill back to him. They never did pay the bill, told me I was a liar-that the incident never happened(my husband was there with me at the time and was trying to pull me out the open bay door but the jerk manager grabbed me first). These guys are rip offs and I am sure they never told the owner of the car that was on fire anything about it. My son now is a mechanic so mom doesn't get ripped off anymore.
